Welcome to the website about the history of Ray Formula Cars which is currently being developed. Plans include information about the Ray Formula Ford 1600 s, FF 2000 s and F3 s of the '70s, plus the Formula Renault s of the '80s and Zetecs and Formula Vee s of the '90s through to the current Duratec cars although the focus will be on the older cars.

Saturday 22 May 2010 - The inaugural Bert Ray Memorial Cup was held today on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit with Ray chassis taking the first five places - congratulations to Neville Smyth, Ray GRS07, for a dominant win.

May 2010 - Johnny Dumfries, 7th Marquess of Bute, is third in the Sunday Times Sport Rich List worth £110m! In 1982 he was Ray Race International's FF1600 works driver before moving up to Formula 3 in 1983. By 1986 Johnny was driving a Lotus F1 alongside Aryton Senna, 1988 saw a win at Le Mans in a Jaguar XJR-9 and he retired from racing in 1991 to look after the family estate..........

April 2010 - Scott Malvern leads the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship in the Cliff Dempsey Racing run Ray GRS10 at round 3 Oulton Park after intense competition from Scott Pye in the Mygale. Jordan Skinner takes a win in his Ray GRK10 at the Avon Tyres FF1600 Southern Championship round at Silverstone.

March 2010 - The inaugural Bert Ray Memorial Cup is announced for the revived Champion of Brands FF 1600 meeting on July 17/18 supporting the World Touring Car Championship in memory of the founder of the category's longest running active manufacturer. Motorsport News. Date changed to 22 May.
